No experience? No pressure. Just bring yourself and embrace your body in our 10-week Beginner’s Burlesque term starting February! A body-positive, inclusive space where you can move, express, and have fun!
Taught by the dancers you know and love from our Bar & Burlesque Nights. Classes run Tuesday nights, SPECIAL INTRO PRICE ONLY $150 for the full term!!
This class has been lovingly designed to be welcoming, inclusive, and confidence-boosting. It’s all about getting comfortable in your body, learning something new, and discovering just how fabulous you already are.
Over the term, you’ll be learning a super cute burlesque routine, with the option to PERFORM it at our Easter Show on April 10th. Performing is absolutely not mandatory — it’s only there for those who feel like taking on the challenge. You are more than welcome to take the class purely for yourself privately.

COSTUMES:
You’ll be fully guided by your teacher through what makes a great burlesque costume. You’ll learn about embellishment, including how to rhinestone, but please don’t worry if you’re not a sewer or a crafty person. You do not need advanced skills to participate.
We’ll show you simple, low-budget ways to create something amazing with minimal effort and minimal cost. You won’t need to spend much money at all — your teacher is the expert at making magic on a tight budget.
In performance (if you choose to do it), you will only ever strip down as far as you feel comfortable. Your boundaries are always respected.
We can’t wait to meet you and dance with you. And if you have friends who’ve ever said, “I’d love to try burlesque but I could never…” — please share this class with them. The more beautiful humans in the room, the more electric the energy will be.

Please wear comfortable stretchy clothes for dancing. No heals needed. We will dance in socks or simple flats to start with!
